Triethanolamine (TEA) is a viscous organic compound with amine and triol agents. A triol is a molecule with three alcohol groups. This substance is a byproduct of the reaction of ammonia and ethylene oxide. This reaction is done slowly, but it is done faster in the presence of water. Also, this reaction can be done without water and with the help of ion exchange resins.
