Hydrazine Hydrate

In general, hydrazines are called organic substances that are obtained by replacing one or more hydrogen atoms with an organic group.

This compound is obtained by some microorganisms such as bacteria, yeast and fungi. Hydrazine is a chemical base like ammonia, but it is 15 times weaker than ammonia. Aqueous solutions of hydrazine are very alkaline.

Hydrazine hydrate, known by the abbreviation HH, is a colorless, oily and toxic liquid with an ammonia-like odor. This substance is very unstable and can be found in two industrial and sanitary grades in the market.
