Dilauryl Peroxide (DLP) is an initiator (catalyst) for the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride at a temperature between 60 and 80 degrees Celsius.
In many cases DLP is combined with a more active initiator such as dimyristyl peroxydicarbonate (MYPC) to increase reactor efficiency.
