Dilauryl Peroxide (DLP) is an initiator (catalyst) for the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride at a temperature between 60 and 80 degrees Celsius.

In many cases DLP is combined with a more active initiator such as dimyristyl peroxydicarbonate (MYPC) to increase reactor efficiency.

  • DLP can also be used as an initiator for the
  • polymerization of methyl methacrylate at 60-90°C.

DLP is packed in 20 kg polyethylene bags or in cartons.
