Dilauryl Peroxide (DLP) is an initiator (catalyst) for the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride at a temperature between 60 and 80 degrees Celsius.
In many cases DLP is combined with a more active initiator such as dimyristyl peroxydicarbonate (MYPC) to increase reactor efficiency.
|Molecular mass||398 g/mol|
|The percentage of active oxygen||3.97%|
|The purity percentage||98%|
|Storage temperature||Less than 20 degrees Celsius|
- DLP can also be used as an initiator for the
- polymerization of methyl methacrylate at 60-90°C.
DLP is packed in 20 kg polyethylene bags or in cartons.
